Good Enough

Good quality Punjabi taste (yes, to some extent) with reasonable prices. very limited seating and that too outside on the side of OMR food street road.

Visited this small stall tucked away in the corner of the OMR Food Street in Navalur when my roommate and I were sorely craving familiar tastes. We ordered the Mushroom Do Pyaza, Mughlai Chicken, Dal Fry, Jeera Rice, Chole Bhature and rotis. The mushroom and chicken dishes, surprisingly looked the absolute same when they arrived. My roommate and I looked at each other in confusion, thinking the same thing - they've used the same gravy for everything. To my utter surprise, the taste of the dishes was different and very good. The mushroom flavour came through beautifully and the chicken was well cooked. The dal fry was thick and luscious with a superb tadka fry and went well with the rice. The chole bhature stole the show, being huge in size and and incredibly tasty. Service and seating is the main problem and brings down the rating. Since it is a food stall, preparation takes a lot of time and if the 5 seats opposite the stall are filled, you'll have to eat standing up. Nevertheless, the food is good.

Best place for foodies. Speciality in both veg and non-veg. My favorite in veg Chola Bhatura and in non-veg Bhuna-Chicken with butter naan. Me and my friends are so addicted to it that we keep visiting very often. Shop owner and staff are very courteous. Had a complimentary delicious lassi once, as a thank you gesture from the owner. Tried all other varieties of food available in menu and all of them were as good as expected. Satisfied and lucky to have Udta Punjab in OMR Food Street.

#15 🤗The last of the food street meet up. ✨This was a really small outlet tucked in the corner of the food street, and like the name suggests, they offer punjabi food. Though these dishes arrived last and we were too full, the food looked too inviting to be missed out. 🙈 ❤️What we tried : chole Batura, Malai tangari kebab and Bhuna chicken. ✨The chole Batura was simple and classic with a very homely touch to it. The kebab were presented beautifully, and went will with the chutney and mayo dip. Bhuna chicken was rich and spicy. Everything was fresh and masalas used were really yummy. 🍲😍 ✨The cost of this came up to ₹340, which is reasonable. 💰 A must try place here 😊

Punjabi food’s richness and spice is always promising. Udta Punjab totally delivered these expectations in the ones we tasted Chole Bhature, Malai Tandoori Kebab and Chicken Punjabi Curry. The Rotis and Bhature were so soft and fresh and the sides disappeared in no time. At ₹100/- each. Udta Punjab was unquestionably one of my favourites at the OMR food street.
