Ton Kiang - Hotel Chennai Le Palace Reviews and Ratings - Porur, Chennai
Quantity of lamb fry ordered was very less. Normal taste. Nothing like thai or chinese...salad was bit dry...taste was ok...added mayo to make salad better..
I have no clue why a starter is being put as a main course dish in the menu!

Stayed at the hotel in which the restaurant is located for two nights with my sister, and both of us being Chinese food lovers, we had our meals thrice at Ton Kiang. The menu is a bit on the small side for a Chinese restaurant. We tried a plethora of items, and they were okay. The momo comes with a sort of garlicky iced lemon juice in a bowl served in the middle of the plate. Mightve been a local influence. The Chef’s Pomfret was quite good. Service-wise, the place is very good. A very attentive group of staff who know the items well and speak English well.

Food was good. But, when compared directly with a restaurant like The Chinese Story or Tasty China, who are just as good or better in taste, the volume of food was less.
