Went for dinner with family !! One of the best ambience for a peaceful family dinner !! The staff is very friendly and very professional... had my reservations on Veg food here ... but I must say they have improved a lot from my previous visit... haryali panner tikka was great in starters .. naan was very soft and good ... dal makhni is a must try.... it is their signature dish... Hyderabadi dum biryani was amazing !! Deserts were all good ... the service is good and this is a go to place !!

There are times when you just want to sit in your hotel room and order in. That’s my favourite part about a hotel. We ordered : 1. Penne aglio olio with lots of garlic, chilli and pepper 2. Hara bhara kebab . 3. Grilled chicken in pesto sauce with sautéed mushrooms for myself. Everything we ordered was cooked as per our requirements and was perfect. The pesto was absolutely bang on delicious. The breakfast spread at spice haat was one of the best I have seen. Spice haat at @hyattregencychennai made our stay absolutely memorable. Not just the hospitality but the food was also fantastic. I am definitely coming back and it’s number one on my recommendations for a place to stay and eat in chennai. .

It’s a 3.5 overall. +0.5 for the very much reasonably priced Breakfast buffet. They have a good spread and a friendly crew. A couple of things could be added to the spread such as a variety of Donuts and shakes/cold coffee to begin with. But yet again, the price they charge is quite reasonable. Overall - Might visit again.

Dined at this place quite a while back for team lunch. Bought nearbuy coupons for buffet worth 899 per head which was a good deal. The hotel had a serene ambience. Lots of greens everywhere one could turn. The looks of hotel might tell u otherwise if u look at it from outside. But their infrastructure inside is contemporary n futuristic. The restaurant itself had a coolest ambience i ve ever been to. Coming to the food, it was just an ordinary fare. They ve four different kinda sections to cater each. The 3nv n 3v starters served on d table were quite average. Don't even think abt visiting salad n soup section, ntg was fresh especially d breads. The main course section had few options out of which mutton biryani was gud, mixed veg curry with butter naan n fish gravy wit rice were too good. Dessert section had usual stuffs, most were gud. Was it worth it? Maybe for experiencing the cool ambience of hotel n average food it might be.

Pros: Great Ambiance Huge spread Comfortable interiors and great art work Courteous Staff Cons: Nothing significant. Though there is a huge spread, the dishes lacked the taste and presentation. The Dal looked watery and I didn't feel like taking it. All the south Indian items are very average in taste. I am a huge soup fan and disappointed to eat a luke warm soup. The buffet was not ready in time. We had to ask for the dishes to be filled. There is nothing really continental thats included. All the dishes are maintained very mildly warm and the cheese layer was hard to break. The dessert spread was huge but nothing really tasted really yummy. Not expected out of a five star restaurant.
