Savya Rasa Reviews and Ratings - Kotturpuram, Chennai

Went to this place for lunch today. We ordered some Nellore style prawns, some chicken for starters. We also ordered some coconut milk soup. All were just yum. For main course had naalu kettu chicken curry, beef curry along with idiyappan porotta and neychoru. Although the Andra style tasted amazing kerala good was not up to the mark. Especially beef. Might be OK for others but for someone who eats beef in kerala regularly this was not upto the mark. Prices are on a higher side which is not definitely worth it. For this one reason won't be visiting the place again even though the food was decent.

Authenticity at its best !!!! That’s the first word that comes to my mind let t be place or the taste . We tasted a lot of stuff here and let me say this you are going to enjoy little thing everything in terms of taste simply lip smacking ....the only con is people love this place so much that it’s so loud despite the private room we got but it’s a Sunday so I guess that can’t be helped ... I’m happy

Beautiful place, very aesthetic, a paradise for sophistication in taste and class.. Loved the food, loved the decor.. And the bathroom, spacious, simple, lively with marigold flowers' wallpaper/paint on the walls. Great place to try the vast variety of south Indian foods and not just idly sambhar dosa.. Keep up the fabulous work guys.. For Chennai standards, this is disruption in the restaurant industry....

One of my current favorite! Absolutely in love with their food! I wish I could try everything on their menu! Went on a weekend ... They serve thalis only on weekedays. Based on the staff's recommendation ordered chicken and mutton starters. They serve it with applams and pickles. For main course we ordered mutton stew, chicken curry and fish mango curry along with aapams! Dessert - elanir payasam and elanir pudding ! Everything on the menu was fabulous except the pudding which tasted like a sweet jelly! Would love to visit again .

Authentic South Indian Fine dining Resturant  The Ambience gave us a heavenly feeling, architecture was extremely mesmerizing Karavalli Spinach Saaru (Soup) was a different combo with minced spinach & chicken, It had a standalone taste. Neikarampatti NaruKattu Gola Urundai was baked minced mutton balls with spices & wrapped in banana pith(Vaazai Naru) Mutton in Kongu Nadu Biryani was very soft, tiger prawns in chemeen biryani were fresh & big. On a personal note we did not find any bones in our dishes, not sure if it was coincidence or the way they serve the dishes
