Great taste, great quantity, low prices - you will not be disappointed with these three :) My personal favourite is the chilly chicken there..Also I was amazed at the quantity of fried rice that I got for just 75 rs :) It's definitely not very hygienic but it's not too bad either....Those who are used to eating in fast food places wouldn't mind at all Only low point for me is that the ambience sucks in this place....there are no chairs available...so you have to stand and eat Also once you enter, since the kitchen is not a closed one, your eyes will start burning because of the smoke that's coming out from the cooking area But none of this would be a problem if you're going to take away the food (in which case, I would probably give this place a 5 star rating)

One of my favourite fast food in Anna Nagar. Ppl just pass comments telling they aren't clean blablabla. But trust me they serve good quality and quantity of fried rice. If ur fast food lover must try this place

The best place in Anna Nagar of u want to know what vomiting feels like.. The serve superb quality meat ..have no idea whether it's chicken,dog,cat or any other.. Service is great..u will be happy seeing bright red chicken pieces on ur plate..colouring? No wat..it's all natural... It's very cheap..tats another advantage.. The place looks great from outside. Seriously wonder y Food Inspectors don't come anywhere near this place..maybe they also had a wonder experience

It's a budget hotel you can ever visit here any time with minimal amount but still you can full your stomach full. The chicken rice and chilli chicken is famous here

Hotel Mercury used to be known as Mercury mess situated in the 12th main road in a bylane opposite where Desert masala stands now. It used to be a busy mess which catered to wide range of patrons from the trainees of the government Anna IAS training academy to Software guys from the nearby TCS ( yes, there used to be a branch of TCS in the building that currently houses the IT and customs office ) to auto drivers and daily wage earners. It used to be equally crowded to Karthick tiffin centre. For almost three years from 2006-2009 it used to be the place where I used to have lunch most of the days. It was a cheap but very generous place that catered to the needs of all sections of people. When I returned to Annanagar in 2013 after my post graduation in Bangalore first place I went in search for is this one. But sadly all that remain in that bylane is ruins of memories of the past. Recently I noticed the board saying Hotel Mercury with the same symbol next to the name of Mercury mess. From then on I tried to go here at least once. I did it recently and I must confess this place is a far cry from what used to there at the 12th main road. A big change is that it had become non vegetarian and without any dining area in a very small cramped up place. I ordered chicken fried rice and chilli chicken. Both of the dishes were average. Chilli chicken had huge pieces which was a big turn off. Hygiene is questionable. The person at the billing was friendly while the one whole handles parcel area was a bit rude. Anyone who used to be a regular to Mercury mess will not take a liking to this sham of a place.
