I didn't walk in expecting an upscale place because I have been here for takeaways for quite a few times. This time decided to dine-in. The apathy shown by the waiters really turns off your mood. Add to it the fact that the tables and cutlery weren't clean. If you would ask me if the taste of the dishes makes up for the initial bad experiences, NO ! Not that the dishes aren't good. They are just average and doesn't make you forget other factors. Also there was lot of colouring substance used in garlic chicken. Even after washing my hand I could see the colours holding on to my hand. And card payment wasn't also available. All in all a bad experience. For now, I'll be here only for takeaways if not giving the place a pass.

A basic Chettinadu joint near Hotchips which comes to light after 6 in the evening. Famous for their non veg and value for money foods. The combo of Paratha and Chettinad Chicken is my all time favorite while their Rabbit Biriyani and Country Chicken Biriyani are Plate cleansers on a weekend lunch

The hotel Guru is not fancy on the outside but the taste here is good. The place is not very tidy and is not a hi-fi hotel. Its just an ordinary one but the taste of the dishes here is good. The egg fried rice here is tasty and spicy too. The chicken 65 available here tastes good but the quantity is not sufficient. Only four or five pieces are only served. The price of the dishes is also very cheap. A person could complete his dining in under 100-120 rupees. To sum up 1) The atmosphere of the hotel is not very good but manageable 2) The dishes served are of good taste with good spiciness 3) The price of the dishes are very cheap. 4) The dosas along with chicken Kurma is an must try. 5) The service is also very good. They respond to us promptly. 6) Credit/Debit Cards are accepted here
