I have been here twice. The first time, we ordered Kaju Dum Biryani and Paneer Bhurji Biryani. Both were too great! The next time, I ordered the Golconda Special Biryani, which I didn't like at all.

Waste food i had in my life. Tried biriyanis 2 different types all were useless omlet too salty and nothing is good and price is very high for their food.... dont ever try it.

Always yes, after reading the reviews I had a mix feeling, I always read reviews never written one, but my love for biryani pushed me to write this. I have had biryani at countless places and many were good and bad again mixed. This place Golcondas today is my fourth day in a row. Because the day I had my first super bowl of biryani I wanted to try everything here. I will personally recommend this place starters and Biryani is what we have tasted and the are amazing. If you guys have read my review on Mana Andhra at Nungambakkam, you all would know that Golcondas is one of my favourite restaurants out there. We went there for lunch after roaming around Navalur and OMR on a Sunday afternoon. My wife suggested this place as she had already been there with her colleague. The restaurant was fully packed and luckily there was one last table left for us****I’m writing this review after being there twice on consecutive weeks**** We ordered Cashew Nut dum Briyani, Chicken fried Briyani, Naan, Lacha Paratha, chillyMushroom gravy, Boneless Kodi Kura. *Cashew Nut Dum Briyani— This was such a surprise. I had no idea that one could make a veg Briyani taste this delicious without adding any vegetables at all, apart from cashews, green chillies and onions. To taste a vegetarian Briyani-which was outstandingly delicious-was a revelation on a whole new level. For all the Vegetarians this one is a must try. * Chicken Fried Briyani— Dum briyani rice with some 6-7 fried chicken pieces. Hyderabadi Briyani couldn’t get any better than this. Tastes finger licking good. I think it’s very tough to decide between Golcondas and Paradise, as to who makes the best Hyderabad Briyani. * Chilli Mushroom Gravy— With right amount of spices this gravy was a perfect compliment to the Naan we ordered. The gravy was spicy enough to make us drop few tears 😂😂 * Boneless Kodi kura— Another authentic Andhra dish, which tasted exactly the way I wanted it to be. Boneless chicken pieces were succulent and tender and the gravy itself was full of flavors. Perfect Andhra gravy that anyone would die for. It wasn’t spicy like the Chilli Mushroom gravy 😝 I would totally recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to taste authentic Hyderabad styled Briyanis. 👌🏽👌🏽👍🏽👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽
