Decent and homely taste, good ambience and service. The highlights of our order were appam and puttu with kadala curry. Cholam dosa was good. Pesarat was good but original taste was missing.. the spoilers of our order were idly and rasagulla.. last but not least kulki sharbat was mind blowing..

Possibly the best *Puttu & Kadala curry* I have had in Chennai Ambience - Tidy interiors and comfortable family dining joint. Open kitchen offers further comfort on hygiene Price: very reasonably priced. Meal for four costed us INR. 480 Dishes tried: 1. Puttu and kadala curry - puttu is dished out in coconut shell and tasted quite good. The kadala curry was rightly spiced and had a good balance flavours from the right dosage of black chenna, fried coconut chunks and curry leaves. I last had excellent curry in Trivandrum and had heavy regrets that I cant find something comparable in Chennai, thank god I did already! 2. Aapam Was crisp and adequately sweet batter, combined great with kadala curry Stew tasted blah though 3. Kuluki sharbat Another impressive order. Had an imitation recently in a fine dining joint and that was possibly 10% of how good this tasted. Other items we tried: badam milk and tea. Both were ok. Glad my dad suggested restaurant for a change and we tried this place. Check it out if you like the suggested combo
