Dosa Street - OMR Food Street Reviews and Ratings - Karappakkam, Chennai

Old Review !!! Visited this place few days back for dinner. Situated in OMR food street. Ordered butter paneer dosa and been delivered within few min as they was no rush. Coming to the taste of butter paneer dosa, dosa batter was little bit fried in butter at last and mashed paneer with some red chilly powder and other masalas were mixed and put on the batter on the top, didn't even bother to fry or cook and in the same way given to me. Paneer was like raw not been cooked, just added with red chillies and masala to the dosa. Didn't find value for money at all. They have charged 50 bucks but no where it was worth, Neither the size nor the filling. Complete disappointment.

This place offers a variety of Dosa's. It is very simple in taste n pricing is normal...At times feels like home/mom made dosa. Place for a simple and variety of Dosa at nominal price..

Dosa is very small. Smaller than what we make in our house. Sambar and chuttnies were bad. Will never turn to this shop again. If you still wanna give it a try for different flavors of dosa you can. But you have order 2 dosa to fill ur tummy
Dosa street, is yet another outlet in food street. They offer a variety of dosa's. Indeed they have categorised their dosa varieties into Chinese, continental and even Dessert dosa's!!! Surprised ???? 😳 The service was good, inspite of the thronging crowd. Went for a Cheese podi Masala dosa.. The cheese flavour were very minimal, and it was dominated by podi and the masala. The side kicks Sambar n the chutneys were below average and tasted blunt!! The dosa size was small, not the usual size offered!!! Overall, a decent place in food street, to try out different varieties of dosa!!!! Really curious to taste their dessert 🍨 dosa next time!!! VFM - 3/5 Taste - 2.5/5 Quality - 3/5

Dosa street as the name suggests provides varieties of dosas. They have different varieties of dosas. But don't get fooled by the names of the dishes provided in the menu list. The dosas were simply not worth the money. We ordered cheese position dosa and baby corn dosa. The cheese position dosa was good. But the quantity provided is not worth 50 bucks. We could get the same dosa for 20 or 25 bucks elsewhere. The size of the dosa was very small. The baby corn dosa was even worse. The corn was not embedded in the dosa. It was as if the corn was done separately and dosa separately and corn is just salted over the dosa. We can only eat the dosa and corn separately. 50 bucks is just too much for the quantity and quality. To sum up 1) The dosa names may sound different but the actual dish was not worth it 2) The dish was overpriced for the quantity served
