Dindigul Thalappakatti
Loved it!

It is one place which serves tastiest briyani for many years. Despite the cost the quality will be far good and also the taste will be good.

I tried thalappakatti biriyani for the first time here. Dont expect it to be similar with Hyderabadi/lucknow or Bengal biriyani. Taste is unique. I found it good and different from other indian biriyanis. Depends on your choice of taste. Surely it's not the best biriyani (my opinion).

I won't recommend this place for briyani but I'm recommending for quick breakfast. Ordered idly and vada combo. Taste n quality was good but felt like Overpriced. If you don't have any other options then you can go for it.

Most often when I get off from my infrequent trips from Bangalore to Chennai, most probably my first pit stop would be here, the Central Station outlet. Finishing off a Biriyani is something that I love from the Biriyani capital of India. Chennai may not be the Biriyani Capital, but what it lacks in variety, quantity, it definitely makes it up in Quality. Dhindigul Thalappakatti is one such fine refined place, serving excellent Biriyani for years. The Biryani is spicy, flavourful, with enough meat to satiate any Biriyani lovers hunger. Not my first visit to this outlet & this chain. Have been a big fan, but their price point is very high considering the quantity you receive for the price. I was too close to ordering another portion for my hunger & in the last minute decided against it.
Avoid!

Worst biriyani! Felt like it was spoilt. They only had mutton biriyani. I specifically asked them if it was hot and the guy who was billing told me it was and gave us some old biriyani that was as cold as it can get. Being the only non veg restaurant in central doesn't mean they can pass below average food to the passengers.
