Delhi Deli Reviews and Ratings - Kilpauk, Chennai

Insane!

Rated 5.0 by Nitish Bansal

Delhi Deli is a nice and cosy cafe in Kilpauk. I went there with a friend at 6 PM for some light snacks and we ordered - 1. Gobi Parantha (Wheat) Excellent choice which was made fresh and reminded me of Murthal Dhaba's near Delhi. I wish they had served us some white butter which would be like a cherry on the cake or butter on the parantha. 2. Kalimirchi Soya Chaap The first time I have had Chaap in Chennai. It was good and a refreshing change from the regular paneer and gobi. 3. Pav Bhaji This for me was the best off the lot. I always said that the Sizzling Pav Bhaji of Indiska at Chetpet was the best in Chennai. But this is better and cheaper hands down. Loved the food over all. Would highly recommend Deli to everyone. Would be visiting soon again. Note - They have Valet Parking as well. Report Card Food - 9 out of 10 Ambience - 10 out of 10 Service - 8 out of 10 Value for Money 10 on 10.

Chocolate milkshake : one liner never order from this place .! Spicy veg exotica pizza: descent , you can try it once Pink sauce pasta was ok ok Cheese nachos : was also ok ok Dal tadka was yummy Vegetable manchow soup was 4/5 Signature kaju curry was nice. Must try if you like cashew .! Tandoori paneer tikka was also yummy.! It has two floors .. first floor for chaats and second floor for north Indian. Initially they told they will serve chaat in second floor but latter they denied. Later questioning them, they agreed to serve chaat in just one time.. so we ordered 4-5 dishes together only. This was a bit hassle. Overall ok ok experience ..Nothing much missed if not visited this place.!

Rating on the scale of 5 Ambiance - 3 Colorful place with a decent interior design. Variety - 3 Has a good variety. My orders Kachori large : curd was more than other ingredients. Pasta : okay Machos : can be better. Pizza : value for money Service - 2.5 Normal standards. Pizza took a long time than other items . Value for money : 3 Haven't tasted other items, the above four cost around Rs.1000. Reserve you table before reach. This is recommended for a quick bite. Happy dineout !
