Went for dinner buffet. Ambience was great here. However the starters were limited. The desserts were great and main course dishes were okay. The people were also very kind. Overall, very worth for the money.

Not a single con here to start with. Excellent amount of varieties, quality of food top notch. Pricey though, really worth it. Highly recommend for those who are willing to pay extra premium price.

Insane!

Buzz - The Gateway Hotel by Taj Group Long post alert !!! Very First post in WCE 😬 A Gateway to Luxury Fine Dine Experience So it was my friend's birthday and we were looking for a place to spend some quality time together. The scorching sun limited our choices within #shols. And within 10 mins from Elcot we were at BUZZ. Ambience (5/5): The interiors were so elegant and classy. Missed the pool view since it was occupied for some business meeting. The seats were so comfy , neat and had a spectacular view of the Entire Place. Coming to the Food : First thing , we were served with chilled water which was much needed for Chennai temperature. Along with that some complimentary Fryums were served. We opted for Buffet. You get your own waiter for the table , and he was so courteous to bring the soup to our table. Cream of Chicken and Celery soup : (5/5) I would give a big thumbs of for this. It was so creamy that we finished in minutes. Starters : Gobi Fry and Punugulu (1/5) : Felt they were tad dry. Just had a taste Fish Tikka (4.5/5) : IMO The only starter which was worth mentioning. Right on Flavours. Chicken Lollipop Dry (2/5) : Okayish. They had 2 Live counters. It was also served in our Table. Kuli Paniyaram (4/5) : It was piping hot & went well with the Coconut chutney and Peanut chutney. The Sweet Paniyaram was okay. Egg chowmein (5/5) : Yummy Fried Hakka noodles with spot on Flavours ❀️ - Recommended Main Course : In short - A Decent Spread of food varieties White Sauce Pasta (3/5) - Creamy and yummy Spanish Roasted Potato Wedges (3.5/5) - Was good Slow Cooked Chicken Drumstick sauted with butter (1/5) - Prefer it to be spicy . Sushi Rolls (3/5) - The Fish salmon stuffed was good !! Chicken Biriyani (2/5) - It was more like a Chicken Fried rice with masalas. Need improvement. Wine infused Garlic Chicken (5/5) - Marked as "contains alcohol" . Taste was super yummy (Show Stopper) Didn't try much main course as we were saving space for desserts. So I'm missing many NV items here. There are lot of choices for vegetarians as well. 8 Choices of salads . 3 Choices of Juices. N number of dressings (Strawberry Mayonnaise - Must try ) 4 choices of Curd based Food's (Dahi Idly,Dahi vada , Curd rice , Raita) Desserts : The favorite Part 🀩!! They had a wonderful range of Dessert platters. The Focaccia bread with orange jam was so yummy. Shattered Brownie , Strawberry Crepe , American cheesecake - Treat for your taste buds. Forgot many Desserts name as we were busy tasting it πŸ˜… In between the Head chef made sure if the food was alright and if we had any complaints. The Total bill came around 2100 for 2 (inclusive of taxes) . They have a Summer buffet offer going on. VFM - Definitely Yes.
