A small premise of an age-old restaurant. I have so many memories associated with this place that i always count for when I hear it's name. My most loved dish is their Rasmalai. Let's say, that's my bae, but this very time, i chose to be different. i ordered 2 pieces of malai sandwich and it was just yum with drippin jeera😍 it's like cloudy drizzle after a sunny day. Hold the sweet and the jeera oozes out. Their malai is very good, idk why. I saw that they have opened up chat counters in almost all branches and though it's welcomed, most of their items are pricy and not like before. The space available is very less, so eating there is a little tough. Always a fan, and will always be one...
Blah!

We stopped by when we are purchasing a laptop in the show room next to this shop. Poorly served, i repeat,'poorly served, no mindset to retain a customer, come eat what is given, go..1/5 We came at 8, and no chat was available, since we asked specifically is closing time now? They told they can do Bhel puri, samosa, and I wanted to try PAL-PENI, let me tell u, it's the worst -2/5 Quality- 3/5 Quantity- 2.5/5 Price - 2.5/5 Ambience - 1/5 Not worth to eat anything here. Archana Sweets happen to be one of the longest standing sweet shops I have known in the central business district of Chennai with a presence quite close to Gemini fly over. They have a variety of sweets and savouries including milk and bengali sweets. A fond remembrance for me is the regular evening snacks we would be served on my visit to my dad's office located quite close by in the Rani Seethai hall building. They would be sourced from Archana Sweets - hot and fresh. My favourite their Samosas - crispy and with the right mix of stuffing - potato masala with a hint of peanuts for texture and crunch. My other all time favourite from them - the roasted crispy masala cashews. I could gobble them up by the packet.
