Loved it!

A good hotel with a pretty good taste. This hotel is decent enough and would need to pick up the pace of its business else it might be in trouble. Personally I feel the food is good here. Not sure about non veg dishes but veg dishes are so good for taste buds. Definitely can be visited by foodies!

The worst food ever ! Not worthy ! Not hygienic ! Not a place for foodies ! Believe me ! Just now we finished our lunch here.. very disappointed ! The food can be called good only if the food as well as the surroundings are well kept ! This is definitely not a place for a foodie !

I went to Appula's yesterday with three of my friends, and we had a good meal after a fairly long time (on OMR). We ordered a curry, garlic naan, masala kulcha and fried rice. The masala kulcha was so good that we ordered one more once we were done with the meal. This time, it tasted better. We thought we would try aalu paratha then, and so we ordered it. The paratha was good but not as good as the kulcha and hence we ordered one more kulcha. This was definitely a weird ordering pattern, however, the service was prompt and the staff welcomed our requests with great hospitality. I can claim with certainty that theirs is the best kulcha around, and I shall be going there quite frequently.  This was Friday lunch at 12:30, and hence there weren't many people in the restaurant. The ambiance is decent and they put up sports channels on opposite walls for entertainment, which, I believe is far better than random video songs. We also ordered a mint cooler, and found it not really pleasing or worth the money, however, that is a general remark for beverages at an average restaurant. It also took them quite some time to prepare it as (most likely) they were out of ingredients. I would have given them a 4.5, if it wasn't for this cooler.
