Horrible experience!!! Yesterday night first time we went there with super hungry state.. this place serve jonah's food also. As we expected a lot from this place but they disappointed us. We first tried nasi goreng and ramen. Nasi goreng has come with a normal papad instead of prawn chips which was horrible. Sambal was just a weird sauce not sambal and served sliced cucumber and tomato which was not at all fresh. Ramen has come with horrble smell and noodle. We were super hungry thts the reason we finish ramen fast. Then nasi goreng we returned back half. They just cant make this food. We had word with manager he said prawn chips now is not available in market so ee served papad. I dint eat that horrible nasi goreng then. Manager informed that they will try to improve and gave discount of 20% bcz we returned nasi goreng. If they cant make proper food they should stop selling that. This restaurent i will not recommend ever.

We went here as we wanted to try something new and hadn’t tried Japanese before. We tried ramen and loved it. The broth was flavourful and everything felt authentic especially the seaweed and Japanese eggs. The ambience was a let down. There’s no proper parking as well. The prices were a bit on the higher side. The service was very good though. We will definitely be trying Japanese again just not sure if it would be at this particular venue.

I had so much hope and was so excited to visit AKIBAY as thus place is owned by a Japanese or Chinese person and specialises in ramen pls excuse me if I am wrong. I always wanted Chennai bring the Asian cousin which does not jus limit to fried rice and the usuals. But this place was disappointing as the flavour was very artificial. I have tasted ramen out of India and esp the fresh made ramen broth and he noodles would be lip smacking unfortunately Thai place was so disappointing the dumplings were pretty good though.

A calm small place to have some good touch of Japanese food! A simple yet great experience of ramen. Loved the way of serving ! And polite service !😇👍👌🏻 Bhuvanesh Kumar
