Adyar Bakery Reviews and Ratings - Krishnapuram, Chennai

Good Enough

Rated 3.5 by Prabhat Topno

Location: It's in the CTH road near the Ambattur O.T bus depot. Only one table is available for sitting. Tired: Egg puff, Egg free Blackforest and Chocolate Truffle Pastries. Taste: Egg puff was crispy and was not so oily tasted really well. Talking about Egg free pastries i was not happy with it was not so nice as expected.

First official cake / pizza point in Ambattur. I still remember the time when I used to buy pizza. A small joint for couples initially. The place provides some nice puffs.

Adyar bakery was the only one of its kind catering to the whole of Adyar and hence the name. It actually started off as a small neighbourhood bakery and has spread its wing quite well with many branches in Chennai. I was looking for a place to buy few cakes for a small meet up with friends. Finally, we ended up in this branch which is close to my friend’s house. It isn’t much different compared to the other outlets offering similar spread of breads, cakes, cookies and so on. This place has never disappointed. Cakes were fresh and tasted too good. They offer good value for money and that is why they have been thriving for decades.
