One of the quaintest bars I’ve ever been to! Just two people on a Sunday night at 22:00 hrs! The bartender speaking punjabi accent English didn’t have half of the stuff from the shooters & half from the Champaign-mixers. Nonetheless, the drink he made me was drinkable and good. Thanks Taj, I came here cause I read recommendation on Lonely planet and also cause I’m a Taj Epicure member however if I had to pass on recommendation, I’d not recommend this place to anyone except single & safe female travellers!

Its  time to feed the body with Spirits!!  During my stay, I relaxed my nerves before my delicious dinner at "LAVA".  Label and Single malt suggested by the Executive at the Bar who became my Alcohol guide set the pace right, even  enlightened me about some cool Alcohol Facts. The place is quaint!! nicely done. The rich  and decent decor may not be the best I have seen but definitely has the Taj feel.  The staff i would say added to the charm which negated everything else.  A separate Smoking room for all those Bud grabbers just next to the bar in case you need to light some.  Live the Taj way !! Staff is filled with warmth!! Keep it up.

Visited this place with a few family friends for a special occasion, and we had a great time. The highlight of this place is the ambience, which is awesome.

Taj is surely making us go back to it now!!! Just so it happened that we attended the Pool Side BBQ night few days back and had the best Kathal Biryani and Parsi Kulfi ..courtesy the new Chef ..Mr Ranvijay Singh. It was our anniversary yesterday and the Chef was kind enough to remake the Kathal Biryani especially for us. It tasted so nice ...full on flavours and meat feeling of Kathal. I couldnt keep myself from devouring the whole thing in few minutes !! The raita went along with it really well and we also ordered their special Kadhai Paneer along with Lacha Parantha and Butter Naan. The meal was super delicious. And what better way to finish it off than Parsi Kulfi. Taj made our day ... they served us their signature Shaan E Dera also .. close to Ras Malai but way toooo delicious. Special thanks to Chef Ranvijay and is team.Our server Dalip was also so nice. Another chef from the kitchen made sure we enjoyed our anniversary to the hilt. We were also served complimentary Anniversary cake. Needless to say everything was perfect. Thank you Taj :)

Ahaaaaa Lava Bar.. To be frank a Gentleman's Bar. Quite and Cozy. The drinks collection is great and the food is good. The cheery on top is the bar tender Mr Kundan Jha, who makes your moment even more memorable by this sweet talks... Kudos
