biryani and raita not tasty. food wasnt warm enough. not paisa vasool.

I ordered mutton korma. It has the worst taste I have ever had. It was taste like a cardemom korma. Throw it in the bin. Waste of money. Would rate it in minus if I could.

Very bad experience.The ambiance is not that fascinating. Talking about the staff and the food , staff seems quite okay , but the food is not as per the name "Karim's". There is no taste , no spices whatever food you order. The breads seems much like a pizza dough. If anyone's planning to visit and have a good hold on taste buds , there are alot many new places at Chandigarh and grab a bite there.

It's been 15 long years since i am living in Chandigarh and i always wanted to come here but i have a doubt that whether it's a part or original karmis or not but on my recent visit it got cleared. Finally i visited their outlet and ordered murgh mussalam its spicy juicy perfectly cooked with my all time favorite khamiri roti and i don't need to mention that it was awesome. People who are complaining about it's Oily and stuff so yes it is if you have problem with oil this is not the place for you but if can ignore the oil for tasty food then do try them they will not disappoint you for sure. Taking about there ambiance it's not new it's like old school restaurant without any fancy lights and chairs new branches of Karims have much better interiors than this but again if you are getting good food then ambiance doesn't count.

I am a regular at this place. Though the interior is midiocre but who cares when you get to eat the best chicken in Chandigarh. I have a lot of favourites here.. from Karim roll to murg musallam, chicken jahanhiri( when I want something spicy).. the chicken is so soft that it melts in your mouth.. totally love this place (Again writing this review is getting my mouth filled with water.. yumm)
