Rainy weather lead to a wish of eating jalebi rubbri.. Dera At Taj did full justice to taste n service. Very polite n friendly staff with serene ambience.

If you are staying at Taj hotel in Chandigarh, please try their Dera restaurant. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for a different experience in food. They have the real and authentic recepies from the North West Frontier of India. I enjoyed my stay at Taj hotel, Chandigarh and the traditional dinner at Dera. The kabab in Thaal, Dera Da meat are exceptional. Also do not forget to try their Peshawari Matar Paneer. Service is exceptional but the chairs are little uncomfortable; but overall I give a 5 star. Excellent experience!

Chef yogesh is a star, he prepared a mutton raan which was just correctly cooked, not too over or undercooked, i enjoyed the chunks of mutton as onlt a true carnivore could!!! I would make a special mention of chef sunil too.

I had the opportunity to have dinner at this restaurant this month after a long day of work. This restaurant is easily one of the very best I have been to and also one of Taj Group's best I must say! The ambiance is simple but elegant, and the sofa seating is really comfortable after a long journey. My colleague and I opted for a simple vegetarian meal. The asparagus soup was absolutely delicious and the meal consisted of a tadka dal on which the tadka was very innovatively done right at the table in pure desi ghee! The aroma can make anyone hungry! The rotis were soft and lovely and the dal tasted amazing. The cauliflower and potato vegetable with very simple seasoning was out of this world too. The dessert; a kind of ras malai was mind-blowing and if I had not had a meal I could easily have had a second helping. The food is presented beautifully and every bit was delicious. The service was warm and courteous.  A must do thing during a Chandigarh visit.

One of my favourite place for north indian food.They make the best Dahi ke kebab in city.Chicken Malai tikka was soft and well cooked.Staff is very polite and attentive special thanks to Sagrika who served us.
