Cable Car Reviews
I have been to cable car since my college days and it never fails to disappoint me. Known exclusively for its wide variety and diversity of vegetarian cuisine, it's a heaven for amazing flavors and uniqueness in food. The ambience always lit me up with happiness, with the cable car setup and dinner being served inside them . Coming to food, we tried their famous buffet- very economical and total value for money. For soup- TOM KHA--tasted phenomenal with prominent coconut milk and lemon SALAD LIDO PASTA SALAD-- it had a predominant mint flavor which I was not a fan of. SPICY ROASTED SALAD - was spicy and different. RUSSIAN SALAD--my all time favorite and it didn't dissapoint. STARTERS GREEK TRIANGLE - amazing concept with puff pastry filled with cheese, had many of these. VEG KURKURE KEBAB- it tasted ok, but the kurkure gave it a extra crunch. BABYCORN GINGER CHILLI- tasted like any other baby corn manchurian. VEGETABLE NOODLE WRAP- yet another amazing concept and tasted phenomenal with different textures in one bite. DOSA COUNTER- they had different varieties, but what stood out was the spinach dosa, liked the unique taste it gave. MAIN COURSE - had TANDOORI ROTI with the following curries. PANEER TAWA MASALA - tasted rich and creamy METHI MAKHAI PALAK- creamy and prominent palak taste. THAI GREEN CURRY- loved the flavor and complimented the rice very well. NAWABI TARKARI BIRYANI - Filled with vegetables and generous masala. In DESSERTS- There were a wide variety of desserts but my favourite was the ANJEER HALWA- soft, rich in ghee and not overly sweet. MOTI PAK- motichur laddo sandwiched between koya, a great combo. WALNUT BROWNIE - rich and chocolatey FRUIT TART- the tart base was amazing with fresh fruits. DATE AND COCONUT PUDDING- the highlight of the date, amazing and a great concept. Overall a must try, even a non-vegetarian like me thoroughly enjoyed the food.
