Thindi katte is located in the premises of presto restaurant. I was here for dinner and there was a list of items in menu but none was available. So ended with open masala dosa and paratha curry token. and i saw some muffins and got one choco muffin.. Open masala dosa was served hot with butter and aloo palya and lots of yellow powder. It was with chutney. Taste was ok.. not that great. Paratha was classical malabar paratha served with chutney and curry.. It was bit rubbery. Choco muffin was not at all good.. Ambiance : 1 - Did Not like the place.. no proper lighting or place to sit Taste : 1.5 Service : 2 Rate : 2 They also serve chats, juice, pizza items and coffee. Enjoy your foooood..

Have visited this place several times.. Can be easily located as it in the main road.. Quite a big place and enough place to sit and have quick bites of south Indian food!! Paneer butter masala dose is the best here and must it!! Very very tasty and you don't need chutney at all.. Mysore masala dose is also very good.. Taste is very much authentic.. Set dose is one more which I eat here when ever I visit this place.. The sambar is my favourite.. The regular masala dose is crispy and amazing.. The vade would be cold by 11am and it's less crispy.. Overall a place for quick bites and not that costly.. Worth giving a try :)

Situated in a busy corner of south Bangalore, we went during their dosa festival, crazy variety of dosas indeed! Tried the Baby corn Manchurian dosa and it was surprisingly tasty. :) Open butter masala dosa was good too. Pakoda was extremely average and so was the combo meal. Overall a decent value for money place with quick service and good spread.

This is among one of my favorite eateries in the Yediyur area. I have been visiting this joint ever since it was started. I think competition from the neighbors, made them to go the Darshini way. The location is hard to miss as it's situated at the traffic signal, bang opposite the Reliance Fresh market. There's plenty of car parking slots to be found easily around this eatery. But the noise at the signal can be disturbing though. What I like about them is their cleanliness and the good variety of tasty snacks that they dole out. Legend says that "a dosa a day, keeps the burger away". So when Thindi Katte in Yediyur circle announces a Dosa festival, how can I stay away. So I have been gorging on some nice & not so nice dosas from them over the past few days. Today's sampling included the Paper masala dosa 60 which was (cardboard) thin, extra crispy & great on flavor which went along fine with the sambar & the chutney. The other thing I indulged in today was the kayi hoorna dosa. This was amongst some of the mistakes that I commit unknowningly in my life. It wasn't too bad, but it was akin to having a dosa with a holige batter poured over it. It tasted awful with the accompanying chutney & was better had without it I feel. Yes, I will be back to gorge on some other dosas soon or if the festival gets over, I will have my regular quota of idli-vada, dosa, kesari baat, chai-kaapi, etc.
