Insane!

Rated 5.0 by Akash

Best place to hang out on Friday evening after office. Ambience is awesome and poolside looks stunning at night. Service is great. Food is tasty. Bit heavy on the pocket but it is THE place in electronic City when you have to take your client out on Friday evening.

The ambience is absolutely amazing. No doubts there. Alcohol is reasonable but the food is a bit pricy but is worth the money because of the ambience. The poolside is a nice place to chill.

Loved it!

Evening well spent, food was good, ambience can be improved. Specially the kebab platter was delicious, BBQ was good and the server @Mani and @anand were really having good smile and made our evening great.

This place is a tribute to contemporary English pubs and that's how it got It's name - The Terminus. It's their take on England's inimitable art history and culture. It's elegance lies in its simplicity! 1. KEY HIGHLIGHTS- * Laid back and Relaxing ambiance * Stunning views * Retro music giving reggae vibes * 360° bar * Fusion Food * Insta-worthy presentation in Channapatnam wooden toys * Pool table * Live screening * Prime location 2. LOOK AND FEEL- The place has a quietly laid back, easy atmosphere. Unarguably, a port of cheerfulness and leisure. The Retro revelry and music from the colourful ages are sure to make your feet tap and your mind nostalgic! 3. FOOD- The place recently introduced their new menu and we were thrilled to check it out on a Friday night to give a perfect kickstart our weekend!! The menu contained various Veg and Non-veg finger foods and bento meals. Presentation of all the dishes was on point. We were enthralled by the dishes being served on cute and colourful wooden toys like trains, carts and barrow-wheels. We were explained that the toys are brought from Channapatnam (Toy city) in an endeavour to support the slowly diminishing art and its craftsmen! Coming to the food and drinks, here are my personal favourites and recommendations: * Shirley temple- Ginger Ale and Grenadine syrup. It was subtly sweet, light and refreshing. Very good option for sober munchies 😊 * Veg Nachos - Spicy corn, tomatoes, onion, cheddar melted over crispy nachos. The amount of toppings and cheese was quite generous. * Chip and dip - Cajun potato wedges, Handcut sweet potato chips, Tapioca fritters with chilli aioli , cream cheese dip. This Spicy cripsy crunchy googly was a total game changer. Best dish ever to go with your chilled beer. Must have 👍 * Vada Bao- Spicy potato dumplings between steamed baos, lasooni thecha, fried green chillies. This is the spicy result of a sweet love making between Bao and Vada pao😂 Recommended for all spice-lovers. * Har Gow- Water chestnuts, asparagus, and shitake in wheat starch shells. The translucent wrapper was paper thin and the delicous trio of veggies just sealed the deal for us👍 * BBQ cheese steak - Cottage cheese, cream cheese stuffed mexican peppers on Sizzler. How can a vegetarian dine out and not order paneer?! The quality of the paneer was unmatchable due to the fact that it is sourced from Delhi. It was soft, smooth and perfect texture. The stuffed mexican peppers were "cherry on top". * Drunken volcano- Dallop of icecream on sizzling molten brownie. Treat to eyes as well as tongue for all Chocolate lovers. * Kulfi- Kufis are made in-house with fresh ingredients. We tried pista as well as Rose petal flavour. I would definitely recommend the latter👍 4. STAFF AND SERVICE- The new menu curated by and under the guidance of Executive Chef Suvaranjan Banerjee was a blockbuster. Kudos to team Terminus! Staff was extremely polite and helping. Service was prompt and on fleek. 5. OVERALL TAKEAWAY- If you are not a party animal, It is the best place to unwind yourself after a long day's work with your friends or colleagues. It is also great for business meetings. Because most business ideas are born only after a couple of drinks afterall 😁 Sanghamitra Gupta DeepaShri Rajan Noorain Sobiya( Theplatememoirs.wordpress.com) Nitin Hajela (TheFoodieTales.com) The UnClichéd

"If you do what you love, it is the best way to relax"- Christian Louboutin
"All that she wants is another baaaby!" crooned the lead singer of "Ace of Base". I, was already digging the reggae vibes and the ambiance just sealed the deal.

About The Terminus :
The Terminus, is your lounge bar where you can unwind after a hectic day over some finger foods & conversations about "the next big thing". They serve an array of fusion food and quick bites. The cuisine is continental and Indian.

Decor & Ambiance :
The Terminus, is very reminiscent of an old English Pub and in a very uncanny way reminiscent of an English tea parlour. The colour schemes are done in the deep tan and brightened up with splotches of colour, here and there. The ambiance is relaxed and very soothing.
They have incorporated the use of local artisanal toys from Channapatna as a part of their food presentation, thereby supporting these artisans.

Hospitality:
The staff are courteous, nimble and extremely efficient with their service. And that is what is, expected from them.

The Grub Story :
We had quite an array of dishes to relish and here is what, I sampled :
Nachos (₹350/-) : The crispy nachos were just perfect with tossed sweet corn, tomatoes, onion & cheddar melt. The cheddar was doused quite generously.
Chip 'n' Dip (₹350/-): I, still can't get over this assortment. As simple as it sounds, I loved this so much. It had "Cajun Potato Wedges, Handcut Sweet Potato Chips & Tapioca Fritters with Chilli Aioli and Cream Cheese Dip". Let me tell you, that this is a Must have! Highly recommended 👍🏻
Vada Bao (₹500/-) : A fusion of the Vada Pau, where the replaces the Pau with the steamed Bao. A good combination for sure, but as i have low tolerance for spicy foods, this wasn't something I ate more than a few bites.
Hargow (₹450/-) : The translucent skin of the dumplings, revealed water chestnuts, asparagus and shiitake mushrooms. This was the highlight of the evening for me. Made so delicately with just the most subtle hints of garlic, I would totally recommend this to everyone. BBQ Cheese Steaks (₹550/-) : It's another one of those, yes I wanna go on eating dishes. The cottage cheese was so soft and completely melt in the mouth, with sizzling on a hot plate drizzled with BBQ sauce. They had a beautiful stuffed pimento, that was filled with cheese. Another Recommended dish. Rose Petal Kulfi (₹425/-) : An apt way to end the rendezvous, was with a rose petal kulfi. The kulfi had very muted tones of rose and was a delight to gorge on, but i really think the pricing can be worked upon. .____________________________________ Verdict : The place is a great for a quick rendezvous with friends or family. The food is as good as it can get. They try to offer you a fusion of cuisines without being over the top about it. I love the fact, that they are in the process of encouraging local artisans and their presentations are totally "Instagram worthy". If you live or work in the vicinity, please do check the place out.
