Lovely place in the side road. Yummy idly and dosas. Road side parking. Hygiene is well maintained. Pricing is quite ok. Poori Sagu was nice too. Perfect place for peaceful outing.

Food / Drink - Typical South Bengaluru restaurant serving South Indian / North Indian / Chinese cuisines. Average tasting, but serving surrounding residents on lazy weekends. Just gets the job done. Recent introduction of ‘bharjari oota’ I.e., humongous meal - South Indian food served on plantain leaves. Unlimited masala dosa, poori, 2 flavoured rice varieties, sambar, RadhaManohara, curd rice, and obattu. End it with a small scoop of ice cream. Price - Well priced. Bharjari oota is priced at 150/-. Rating is upped purely because of competitive pricing. Service - Fast. Friendly. Ambience - Clean. Nothing to wow, but welcoming. Location - Easy to locate. Parking - Limited parking on site. Speciality - South Indian / North Indian (South Indian style!) / Chinese. Must try? - Nope. Pro tip - Hmm.. nothing. Not a fussy place in any way. It’s just another restaurant.

I hadn't visited UD Residency in over 6 years. I was in the area nearby and decided to have my lunch there. The first thing that hits you when you enter is the stale stench. After I took my place, I decided to visit the washroom. I don't think the toilet has seen a brush and a toilet cleaner for quite a while. Absolutely filthy. When I came back, I discovered where the stench was coming from. The unwashed tablecloths. I saw a waiter pick up the table cloth after the guests left, cleaned the sofas with it and arranged it back over the table. I honestly do not know when they were last washed. They replaced the same plate mats back and didn't bother cleaning. Overall Ambience Rating: Bad I ordered Masala Papad, Tomato Soup, Babycorn Manchuri, and Kulcha and Kadai Paneer. The masala papad was fine when served. Then came the tomato soup. It was sweeter than the Boost and milk drink I have every day. The cook probably made it too spicy and overcompensated by adding LOTS and LOTS of sugar. I was forced to return the soup. Next came the Babycorn Manchuri. Two words: Cold and stale. Definitely not freshly prepared. Mostly prepared 2-3 days prior and frozen overnight and then heated. Still not as bad as the Soup. Then after a long wait, we FINALLY get the Kulcha and side dish. They served rotten cucumber slices and blackened onions with it. I showed it to the waiter and he smiled sheepishly at me. Is this a joke? Serving rotten food? Overall Food Rating: I wish I could've ordered only Masala Papad instead of the rest of the terrible food. And now we come to something worse than either the ambience or food: the service. I sat at my table for 12 minutes (I counted) before someone noticed me and gave me the menu cards. Then another 9 minutes to bring the glass of water! The only thing to arrive quickly at my table was the Masala Papad. Everything else, I had to wait for a minimum of 10 minutes. Then they delayed even more in giving the finger bowls and the check. Don't you want me to pay?! Overall Service Rating: very very slow It saddened me deeply to visit this place and see if fallen from grace. It was one of my favorite places to eat and now I'm pretty sure I won't step inside this place again.

Yes! 'The Royal Treat" this place is located on JNC Road. have been to this place with my team to try the Cuisine from this place. we reached by 3:40 pm, so the time was to place the order and we were really feeling hungry and wanted the food to come on the table as quick as possible. Our order was Veg Fried Rice, Muton & Chicken Biryani, Chicken Masala with Roomali Roties.  Appreciate the team for suggesting us the menu and being so courteous, finally we got the food in about 8-10 minuts on the table which is a genuine food production time. We loved each and every bite of individual dish and the food was really yummy and we enjoyed. "Sweet" End of the meal we got sweet to end up the meal. Recommended to try ...!!

Nice food, good ambience and has candle light dinner for three days in a week.. monday tuesday and wednesday, overall a pleasant experience.
