Sri Ganesh Uphar has been our go to breakfast joint ever since we moved to Sarjapura.... The hot breakfast early in the morning is a treat to have.... Our personal favourites: Medu vada crispy on in the outside soft on the inside.. .. Ghee Roast: you just can't go wrong with Gher roast.. .. the perfectly crispy dosa served with 2 chutneys and Sambhar.. Their idlis are great too... I have had their BisiBele Baath once and I really liked it... though it can be a tad too spicy.... Their prices are VFM.. . service is fast... it's self service.. .. but you don't have to wait too long... It looks small and but it has fed many a hungry mouths every morning....

Regular Upahar style menu.  Closest from my place and default option. Good taste is decent and pricing is reasonable. Nothing great as such.

I have been to this joint many times, but it was not listed on Zomato earlier! Was here for the breakfast yesterday! The joint looks small, but believe me, its very busy and in the morning time there is a huge rush!  There are 5-to-6 4-seat tables and 3-to-4 stand-in tables, so you better be on time or wait to take seat. The cash counter is fast and the looking at the volume of orders they get at times, the service is very fast as well. Remind you; its self-service here. The place is very clean and neat though! The staff seems to understand and speak many languages.  We had ordered Masala Dosa, Idli and Vada. The hot and crispy Masala Dosa with the Sambar was excellent. In the morning time, you get the best coconut chutney with the dishes. The vada too was very good, crispy outside and soft inside. To end the breakfast we had, Badam Milk. You should not leave this. Though they use MTR Badam Powder but with right amount of warm milk it tastes wonderful.  If you're on your way to Chika Tirupati or heading towards Hosur or Chennai using the Sarjapura Road, visiting this place is worth.  Taste: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Ambiance: 3/5 | Menu Variety: 4/5 | Value for Money: 4/5 Last Visited: January 2016

I happen to be here for breakfast. This place reminded me my Chennai days. I had aloo puri and upma. Filter coffee of course. Aloo puri and upma were good. The place is decent enough to have meal. Clean and hygienic. Filter coffee was really good. On second thought I should 3 as it does not have a place to sit, it has just two tables to stand and eat. Nevertheless good place for bfast.
