Avoid!

Unfortunately, we didn't have a great experience at Shizusan. The manager was extremely considerate and apologetic, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the interior, ambience and decoration is simply spot on. However, the food itself did not deliver at all. Both dimsums we ordered were thick, extremely acidic in taste and simply not great. Must say, ingredients were of good quality, but the papaya salad, for example was overripe and hard to chew. Overall, food is disappointing, but wide-ranging menu and concept is good, but not worth the money at all.

Beautiful place, with amazing service and super tasty food. Loved the maki rolls, and Korean bao. Special thanks to Sanjeet for the incredible service.

If you have a taste for Japanese and you're at Phoenix Mall, Shizusan is a MUST. Would recommend it anyday for a Sashimi and a Sushi with an in-house cocktail. Top stuff! Keep up the good work guys, I will keep coming back for more.

Great!

I have been to this place for food tasting last year and was really impressed with the gala spread and food was yum. This is for the first time and after more than a years time that I am visiting them as a customer. I was pretty much impressed again with a couple of dishes. Special mention to three mushroom Maki rolls. I am not really a fan of veg Maki roll but this definitely was a palate pleasing one. Also chef's special pan fried dimsums were again delicious with such an awesome presentation. I was sold just by the look of those dimsums. Green Thai curry and sticky rice was again decent. Dishes that I wasn't impressed with was penang laksa lotus stem appetizer which tasted really dry. I tried this one during food tasting and was impressed but yesterday wasn't same. Other was classic miso soup which happened to have really strong overpowering fish taste. Apparently it was veg soup so wasn't sure if it was supposed to taste like that. Overall it was a decent experience and would love going back for Maki rolls, dimsums and baos.

Visited this place today with friends and we really enjoyed the food. Everything we ordered was good, particularly liked their veg sushi (asparagus) and Korean noodles. The place was not crowded when we visited so we had a pleasant time.
