The English board of the hotel is not correct. It should be 'Hottethumba" and not "Ottetumba". In Kannada 'otte' means whole. Hotte means stomach.

As the name goes by you get to eat hotte tumba. The prices are very low. The quantity of food served is worth the money. Chicken dum biryani and and a plate of full chicken Kabab for just 170. Although the taste isn't all that amazing,its fine. More like comfort food. One of the drawbacks is that the place isn't big enough.
