Their food is tasty but expensive, staff is polite. When we compare, I would probably not come back since we didn't have an overwhelming experience like we did elsewhere. The person attending us was not a very happy face and also tried to misguide us about the Zomato Gold rules, which was unnecessary and unpleasant right at the beginning. There were a lot of items unavailable from the menu. Also, to our surprise, the Mutton which we ordered was goat meat which is not generally used in Bengali cuisine. The food tasted good but with that rate card, you expect a lot more. Overall a good but not great experience.

Insane!

A bit on the pricier side, the ambience and food is simply superb. May be a few more varieties can be added to the existing menu, like Enchorer dalna or potoler dorma. Have been to the church street outlet a few times, and was impressed on each occasion.

Blah!

I am a big freak lover of bong cuisine and this place satisfies my love for it all the time.without any second thought i can suggest to go here for Bengali food. Oh Calcutta keeps its standards high, whether you see the presentation, taste or the service it always maintains the level. Tried quit a lot of dishes here but my fav is maacher paturi, kalo jeere diye phoolkopi shorshay, daal and nolen gurer ice cream. Appetizer-All the starters are equally good so till now couldn't fantasize any one. Main course-Kosha mangsho was good but if you like spices thn go for it otherwise if you are like me,who likes less spices than try other dishes Kalo jeere diye phoolkopi shorshay was simple and delicious. Pure Bengali style cooked with beautiful flavors and having it with luchi is the best combo. Drink- In drinks i had aam panna which was refreshing and a good drink to have specially during summers. Dessert- i always have nolen gurer ice-cream because inam a huge fan of it. I never give up a chance to eat this ice cream. It is fresh, soft with balance of sweetness.
