Mystique Palate Reviews and Ratings - Jayanagar, Bengaluru

Rated 5.0 by Mahi At Peace

After going thru the reviews, decided to head out to this place for dinner. Tucked away in one of the bylanes of 4th Blk Jayanagar. Must say I was quite impressed with what I saw. Small little place and yet manages to attract the crowd. First thing's first.  I Opted to go for take away and ordered Schezwan Momo's, Paneer Thupka and Paneer Fried rice. As far as the staff is concerned, they are courteous, polite and everything that you would want to see in 'em. Got the stuff home and started digging to satiate my hunger. Momos were awesome and have no complaints with it. Paneer thupka is a flat noodle soup with a lot of veggies. That was filling. Tried their Paneer fried rice and must say it was nice. I had requested them to make it with less oil and boy they were quite serious about it. They made it with less oil just like the way I like it. Awesome taste and surely a must visit again. Besides, it's pocket-friendly too!!  Glad I ended up here.

This was my first order on Zomato and guess what? The food quality was below average and the taste was not even close to good. The combos offered by this restaurant are too good to be true. Not worth it at all. Overall, it was a horrible experience.

Very Pocket friendly, 900 for six ppl... Portions are just enough, not in same mould as the Indo- Chinese chains out there... Small place, so be ready to stand and savour.. owner was very attentive and accommodative on taking orders, revising and meeting requests.. gave us Combo even though it was only for lunch..! We had only Veggies... We started with Soup Thukpa, for a rainy evening it was great - tasty, flat noodles incl, just enough spicy... Try out Pesto sauce based items, real good, we had Moasta. .. Arrabbiata Penne was tasty but spicy for my liking, but enjoyed by my friend..! Momo's were fresh, filling was good. Baby corn Manchurian were devoid of the red colours; again fresh and quite ok in taste... Combo portions, variety (Fried Rice, Noodles, Manchurian, Momo's, sauce) is right for the palate and great pricing-- both Veg and Paneer we're good. Finally the Schezwan Noodles and Smoked Noodles were good in terms of spice, taste, some ppl prefer it to be oily and real spicy but their mix flavor is good enough... Only thing is probably a small portion of gravy (apart from tomato sauce) to go with would be just great..! Overall... Thoroughly enjoyed...
