Moghuls Reviews and Ratings - Domlur, Bengaluru
Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We were in a hurry and this was the closest restaurant to our office. It is a familiar place and parking could be a trouble if you travel by car. Else easy to find above the Maruti showroom. We were greeted by the staff and surprisingly we were only ones in the restaurant. Maybe because they didn’t serve buffet that day. The ambiance I would say is colors and shapes to make it look like an authentic Mughlai place with arches and brighter hues. I like their outdoor like seating that overlooks the road. We ordered sweet lassi, Jal Jeera, Phulka, butter naans, Dal Tadka, Chatpati Okra (Not sure what exactly it was called) and a preparation of Sheekh kebabs in a gravy (Forgot what it was called too!) and jalebis for desserts. The Jal jeera was perfect and lassi a tad too sweet. The Phulka were fresh and hot so were the butter naans. The Dal tadka was done very well, tasted fresh and the right amount of spices. The Chatpati Okra was really good. The Okra was batter fried well and the onions and bell peppers added some freshness. A good starter. The Sheekh kebabs in gravy was well done too. Slightly bland for my liking. I craved for a little more heat in it. In my opinion, Mughlai dishes are high on aromatics and low on spice/chilly heat, but this one needed a tad more perhaps? The Jalebis I can proclaim were probably the best I have ever had. Seriously! Freshly prepared, bang on sweet, crisp and I wanted a few more! The staff were polite, courteous and attended to us on time. Some of the dishes took longer and I believe it’s because all are made to order. We were in a hurry and hence it bothered us a bit. Overall, I felt the food really good (those Jalebis!!!), service was nice and the price was reasonable.

Laziest service ever. You have to wait wait wait for getting food. We went for non-veg buffet ending of disappointment. For starters they also don't know what to give, if you ask they excuses will get it soon. Nobody comes ask for food also they are not bothered about this. when we ask for Desserts they started preparing, so end of without having Desserts. it seemed the staff members were not willing to refilling your plate. Don't ever go for buffet. Food is good, i liked it.
The food here is just above average . Some dishes were a bit too greasy & the corn tiki was overtly dry . Can def improve . Maybe another try will change my opinion

Great food and Service!! Crowd was pretty thin which was quite surprising given the location and food quality. Everything from starters, main course to desserts was quite delicious. And the manager made our desert complimentary which definitely left sweet taste in our mouth :). All in all, must visit for a good North Indian food, decent ambience and great service.
