Mary Cafe Reviews and Ratings - New Thippasandra, Bengaluru

Good Enough

Dirt cheap with good serving of South Indian delicacies . Very good option for breakfast as the serving time is less. Masala dosa , Egg dosa , idli - most of them are good. Ambiance is a total no no. Clumsy sitting arrangement, crowded most of times because of the over pocket friendliness . Best if chosen for parcel. Somehow, I totally dislike the taste of any chicken dish prepared by them. Have tried chilli chicken, pepper chicken as well as chicken noodles , all of them tend have a smell which is very repelling . Chicken biriyani is not bad, decent enough. The parathas which they make don't seem to use good oil and ends up causing a very sticky feeling. They have a coffee tea counter which serves really good tea and coffee. Highlight - they make decently tasty Egg Masala for 15 rupees :P

Unfortunately Chinese is real dumb thing don't know why r they even running it...😂pathetic....to be frank The add southindian masalas in the Chinese dishes.........I mean....WHY????😕 Chicken solo dishes..are "with bones"........BLUNDER😯

MARY CAFE,🍲🍛🍱🍚 The place we're the South Indian foods are served, and is a quick serving restaurant, The speciality of Mary cafe is KOTHU PARATA, Kothu parotta is a delicacy popular in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is made using parotta, 🥚egg, meat, and salna, a spicy sauce. Other variants of kothu parotta are Muttai kothu parotta, chilli parotta. GET IN have a delicious foods with cheap price,😋

Mary Cafe is an ideal place for quick grab or bite without worrying about money that much. It's always crowded with people ordering and getting served all the time. The cuisine is as usual that one finds at any Street food joint. On days, you might have to wait to get your order as many visit this hub as its cheap. They have south Indian to north Indian food to Chinese and all are reasonably priced. It is not that clean, friendly or sober by any means cause it doesn't have to be as mostly people come here for a quick cheap bite.

Very hospitable lady at the counter makes you feel welcome 😊Food was tasty but the highlight was the tea. I had the egg/ muttai dosa which they prepare on the same griddle/ tava as the veg dosa, so this place is avoidable if you are pure veggie. The dosa maker will break two eggs on the spread dosa batter and spread it around the dosa and sprinkle pepper powder, chilli powder and salt. The dosa can be eaten by itself as it has a taste od a light omelette but goes OK with coconut chutney. Does not suit the Sambhar and tomato chutney. Seeing that the coffee counter was that of Cothas Coffee, wanted to have coffee but the way the guy on the counter was making tea that looked very tempting. He would add sugar to a glass, add bit of tea that had accumulated in the cloth like long tea strainer and then add milk. Then mix using a brass cup with handle, the whole production itself us fun to watch. The tea is frothy and wow, I had a second glass as well. Will go back for the tea☺ This cafe is almost at the fag end of the one way thippasandra road on the right hand side.
