Though the name is Malabar mess the place has very few authentic malabar dishes. But their appam and Kerala parotta are pretty good. The chicken biryani is worth trying too. Also, the quantity is way too less for the price they charge. It's a pocket friendly place, no doubt. But I didn't find the hygiene factor pleasing at all. You can pretty well see the kitchen and sometimes you might end up not eating the food after that.

The place is really good for pocket friendly meals. But the food tastes nothing like the Malabar cuisine. I had ordered for home delivery once and they made me wait for 2 hours. The quantity does justice to the pricing. The puttu and kadala is pretty good. The Appam is good too. The kerala meals for lunch ends up being too bland. The beef chili is pretty good

Pretty nasty food, gave me a stomach ulcer. But hey, seems to be very popular among the mallu crowd, so must be something about it that makes people come back. I ate the chili chicken and the Kerala parota, in case you were wondering....
