The place being on my way home, had stopped for a Chai. In fact my friend had some work to be completed and it was important for him to login to his system too. And this little place grabbed our attention. Especially in the evening, it looks really beautiful from the outside. As we went inside, a few of their staff greeted us and asked us to take a seat. I like the interiors. Very few tables, the warm wood décor, the lights was just right for a chai, some snacks and with just our table occupied, for some time, my friend could concentrate on his work. We ordered for a tea and a Grilled cheese chicken sandwich between us. We got busy working and talking and the tea came first followed by a sandwich. They took some time to prepare, but no complaints as we had work to complete. The tea was really good. Strong as I like it and plain Assam chai Kinds. I rarely drink Masala tea and even when I do, I like the mild spices. Strong spices make it less of a tea and more of a concoction of spices. So this one was perfect! The presentation of the sandwich was really cool. A sweet sauce/mayo decoration on the top, little onion scales holding the Barbecue sauce, Mayo based dip and a green dip of mint added to the theater. The barbecue sauce is worth mentioning. It was terrific! The flip side is we ended up asking for more sauce as these would be a little less for both of us. I noticed there were no fries or chips or potato wedges. I didn’t miss them, and I really believe you don’t need fries all the time. The staff were friendly, attentive and quick. At 60 rupees for a tea and 245 rupees for a chicken sandwich, the prices are exorbitant. I say this as I found the prices quite expensive for a “Hole in the wall” kind of a concept. And the bill makes you miss the fries or wedges :D But for the experience with the little ambiance, food and the service we had and the amount of work my friend could complete sitting there and using his laptop, rating this place less than 4 would be unfair. In my opinion, a place with a good potential to attract younger crowds especially, if they rework on their prices.

Spotted this newly opened cafe on the streets of koramangala 4th block while i was looking for a quiet place to spend sometime. Le frappe has a lot of variety in menu. I could not get a chance to try their combos as they were about to launch on next day. Order Popcorn Latte: Each sip of Caramel popcorn dipped in classic latte gives you a burst of delightful flavour Rating: Ambience: 3.5/5 (It’s a small cafe having a wooden look with limited seating capacity) Taste: 3.5/5 (They could have used a bit of artificial flavour to give the coffee a proper flavour of popcorn because the taste becomes negligible after the popcorns are finished) Presentation:4/5 Service: 3.5/5 Value for money: 3.5/5 (I feel it is bit expensive for a coffee)
