Blah!

Rated 2.0 by Rohit Kasle

Worst of all!!! This place is not like anyother Jimi's cafe in Bangalore. Rather I say this is not even a cafe, its a 'theka'. Mosquitos all over tha place, spider nets on some corners. Tables and chairs are not clean. Lack of lighting and very shady place. Washrooms are worst. Even it looked like staff doesn't want to work here anymore as they really don't know what they are serving and no interest in customer feedback. Food was okay okay but seeing the ambience didn't feel like having it. Only one good thing is cheap drinks. 1+1 offer all the time so 500rs a draught tower. Overall: Its a standard theka. Not a recommended place for girls.

Very Bad

This has been by far my worst boozing experience in Bangalore. I am not sure if the management here is the same as the Indiragar's outlet, but it was terrible nonetheless. We went there today early in the evening today as we were around Marathalli and wanted to have some beer to beat the heat. First surprise that we got there was that they didn't have drought beer to serve, neither in mugs nor pitchers. I mean common. How can you not have beer to serve at a restro-pub, especially on a Sunday ??? I can understand we were the only people there , but no beer !!! We decided to go for whisky as there was a 1+1 offer during happy hours. 2e also ordered plain salted peanuts and French fries. The peanuts were looking as if they were brought out from a tumbler forgotten for over a month. Fries were smeared with so much chilly that we missed out beer even more. Half heatedly, we finished the drinks and left the place for good. They charged us 100 bucks for the peanuts eventhough it's price it's listed anywhere in the menu. When we asked them why, the staff said everything is fed in the system. Fries were Rs. 160 a plate. Total bill Rs. 938. In all totality, a waste of time and money. Never expected this after such memorable experiences at the Indiranagar's outlet every time we have been there. No photos taken as nothing worthwhile clicking.

Well...

Was here last night and I should it's on the worst places I have visited in my life. Completely shady bar with loads of mosquitoes entertaining you. If you have plans to kill someone just take them to Jimis washroom and lock them for 15mins and I m sure the person will be dead coz of the stinking washrooms. Besides all the negatives there are couple of positives like decent food and good customer service ... Pocket friendly places serving alcohol for lower prices as they have 1+1 going on all day.

Demonetization and lifestyle curb your expenses ? want to drown your sorrows and eat a kings worth for cheap (Indian and Indo-Chinese food) .  Go to Jimi's (Top floor)  What not to expect -  Consistency in service - They are a mid range outlet, people come in here for a quick drink and get out.  Service levels - Depending on the time of day, you'd have people hovering around you in the evening and may have to walk up to the servers in the Day !!  The ambiance you may not notice is of the transportation means in India, everything from a ferry to a plane and on the sides - a seating mimicking a train. It isn't something to brag about but is decent considering this is a mid range waterhole which has been around for over ten years at the least.  Coming to the drinks part, yes they are cheap  but, considering the whole gimmick of tax - the bill in entirety does not sound that way.  We ordered, 6 pints of draught beer, one Tandoori chicken starter (the one with Cashew and spices in it) which was not spicy, peanut masala, Garlic bread with cheese and finished it with plain strawberry ice cream. The bill had come up to 1200 !  A good mention is of the chicken starter it comes with bone but was damn tasty because of the crushed cashew.  Take a good look at their menu, they probably are the only outlet in this range of pricing that offer thai, tandoori and continental to an extent. It may not be the kind wherein you would want to kiss the chef's hand but it definitely would add flavor to your fun you have while you listen to some rock.  I would recommend these guys albeit, go in for a casual outing - you won't be disappointed.  Cheers !
