I liked their name - Jack and Sheikh - to start with. The Jack because they have fries and tacos and Sheikh because they also serve kati rolls and kebabs. I'm a big fan of rolls and I ordered the egg-cheese roll, which is a new and innovative variant of the ubiquitous roll. An egg roll is nothing new but the copious amount of cheese made it "sinfully" tasty! But then all nice things in this world are either sinful or fattening and this was both. I so badly wanted a mutton roll, but they have only egg and chicken variants. The next time I'm there, I'll pray to them to start making mutton rolls too. Last night was my first time the - it's a relatively new kiosk that's come up inside the Lido Big Bazaar complex. But I'm sure this isn't my last time. If you're from calcutta or the adjoining states and are fond of rolls (not the Bombay Frankie) and you end up at Lido, I'd recommend you try one of their rolls.
