At the food court in Phoenix mall, it is always a challenge to decide what you want to eat. Sometimeis it is the counter that does not have to much of a crowd. Today was different and the food court was not full. We decided to try Hunan Express.  Food: We ordered Garlic fried rice ( Seemed more like schezwan fried rice but was nice) and crispy fired veg equally nice.  It better to avoid the combo's as i feel quality is better on a-la-carte orders at food courts.

This is my most favourite restaurant in phoenix mall's food court. I love the combos that they offer, especially egg fried rice + Thai lemon chicken/ red dragon chicken. Their 'make your own bowl' is a favourite among people generally. The affable chef makes it exactly like you want the dish to be. They serve their food piping hot and in sufficient quantity. Give it a shot if you ever visit phoenix mall!

They specialize in Chinese food. They can customize it to Indian palate (spicy) and can also cater for less / non spicy tastes.  They server good quantity of food. The food is cooked fresh and served hot. Various toppings and sauces are available to cater for your personalized taste. Their Dimsum (Momos) are really good. Way better than the wholesale concept which other vendors are selling. At first glance it appears that they are charging more for momos but when you look into the comparative pricing in detail then here you get a better deal. For 195 you get 9 yum chicken dumplings (Chi Jiaozi) which are juicy with the batter rightly steamed so that it just melts in your mouth. Hunan wheat flat noodles with continental sauce (not in menu - you may have to ask it) and fish toppings blew me away. They offer various toppings like fried onions, coriander - please don't forget to add it to this dish. I would have given them a full 5 rating but since their service is slightly slower (it took 12 to 15 mins) I am giving them a 4.5 rating. The food is as displayed in their photos. It has a good visual appeal not to mention that it is tasty as well :) I will visit this eatery once again when next time I am at Phoenix Mall.

After a long time had very nice chinese food. I ordered zingt bowl. Liked the concept of adding your own touch to the food you eat. The quantity served was too good for a outlet at a food court. Chicken was soft and nicely cooked. Worth the money spent!
