Bombay Brasserie Reviews and Ratings - Devara Beesana Halli, Bengaluru

I would have given 3.5 rating which was previously allowed here. One will be absolutely delighted on entering the resto. The design is amazing with white and blue theme. There are potted plants all around.Extremely pretty and calm.5/5 for ambience. The menu has food items from different parts of india. Aam papad paneer was super soft, sweet and tangy.Cheese kulcha was good too. They are like buns with cheese filling. The Galawati mutton kebab was melt in mouth but the spice was raw and intense. We ordered Salli chicken, Rajasthani dungar maas , Bombay dabba Gosht, Lohe ki kadhai ke aloo and Dum ke kali dal curries along with Multigrain rotis, Chur chur paratha, Amritsari aloo kulcha. 5/5 for roti, paratha and kulcha. Bombay dabba Gosht and Dum ke kali dal tasted great. The curries were very spicy but went well with rotis. Lemonade pudina drink was refreshing.Lassi here is a smoothie - don't order. When it comes to desserts the choices are limited. Chocolate paratha is really a bad idea and they should take it off the menu. Ice cream sandwich was so ordinary - Not good for people with tooth sensitivity but it was well presented with jelly, gems, eclairs and wafers.Regular ice cream flavours fitted between bourbon and nice time biscuits. Roshogulla topped with rabdi and aamras wasn't soft enough. Amritsari kulfa was the only saving grace. They should certainly think of better options for desserts menu. Nothing special about the service.Initially, it took around 20 mins for starters to arrive which we were informed before. After that, food came by quickly. Presentation of the dishes is regular but for some, its old style like the dabba and winnowing fan. Prices are a little on the higher side.VFM - 3.5/5. To summarize, the food experience was good excluding the desserts. One time visit.

A place where you get the unexpected. A pretty looking place with some really different tasting Maharashtra cuisines. Even though the name says it, I half expected to have what I had. Food- 3/5(only because I'm not very fond of Bombay cuisines) Music- None Ambience- 4/5 Presentation- 4/5 Service- 3.5/5 Overall- 3.5/5 My experience- A classy looking place with some really good presentable good. The service was ok-ok, food as I said was not of my type but a really great set up. Would hopefully be a delight for Mumbaikars as the food tastes like it was prepared at Mumbai. Good presentation of even the smallest things that were served, be it normal cutlery. Suggestion- Even though I have not tried it all, would love to see a little more variety in food choices. Cheers!! Keep hogging!!

Visited this place on sunday afternoon with family. Perfect ambience , service was good. Coast to coast chicken , rajputana shoola kabab and chicken butter masala must try . Food was good both in taste and presentation. Quantity for food was less , it should be more according to pricing . One more thing they have very less option for food on their menu.

This place has been super creative with the menu. The names of the items and the descriptions are very creatively done. As and when the items start appearing you will start noticing that the creativity was only till the menu - the dishes, I did not find anything that distinctly stood out for me. The interiors are well done and well lit. All the plastic plants - I am not a great fan of. Would have been much more convincing if they were the real ones. Staff is super attentive, courteous and friendly.

Good ambience and location.. There is sufficient parking space available which is a luxury in Bangalore. We ordered - Rajputana murg soola kabab - With some blow torch theatrics and good flavours, this was a good one. Kashmiri naan kebab- Made of minced mutton, served along with a layer of roti and some dip. This was tasty but if it was warm, then would have loved it. Bombay lunch homecooked veg curry and banana rice - The only vegetarian in our group opted for a safe and light combo and it was simple yet tasty. It had a goan taste to it as the rice was cooked in coconut milk. Something different for the taste buds. Rajasthani dhungaar maas - not that great. The coal-dhungaar taste was there but the curry was not so flavourful. It was an average dish. Chicken butter masala - This was worth ordering. Loved it. Garlic naan & tandoori rotis - good Grandma’s choco- treat - you ought to love anything chocolaty but this was a little chewy. Bread pudding - Average Staff was helpful and polite. And the prices were worth the service and quality. Overall a good experience & they have a different menu.. would love to explore more.
