We had dinner here during our stay at the Goldfinch Retreat.  We had decided to order from the Ala carte menu at the their restaurant Banjara. We were told that it would take 40 mins for the food to be prepared. That was fine with us.  After waiting for about 70 mins, the food finally started coming in. One the items we had ordered was Kodi Ghee Roast. The Ghee Roast was nothing like what it was supposed to be. On asking the staff why the Ghee Roast had gravy, he answered “Since you ordered rice and paratha, we made it gravy stye”.  We asked him if anyone from the staff or the chef had bothered to convey that decision to us or take our opinion, he was at loss for words. We asked to speak to the chef and he replied the same - “We made it gravy style because you ordered rice and paratha!” We made it clear to the staff that we’ll not be paying for such substandard food.  The final nail in the coffin - we had ordered fresh lime soda and had completely forgotten about it in the ghee roast chaos. After we got done with dinner, one of the server asks us if he could get the fresh lime soda.  On pointing out that we had finished dinner and what was the point of bringing it now, he replied “Oh, most people drink lime soda after dinner!”. Wow, really? Amazing observations there.  We had enough of this circus, called the duty manager because everyone else had left for the day, and expressed our displeasure. On asking for the bill, they refused to give us the bill and insisted that we finished dinner first. After not being given the bill even after consistently asking for 10mins, we decided to leave the restaurant and asked them to post the bill to our room.

Food is good but location is awesome. Far away from the city noises and disturbance. This place is best to be visit in afternoon and come along with family & friends.

The food is here is good but I think can be better. The ambience was 😊 good. The service was also good but the taste could have been more better. Quality 3/5 Service 4.5/5 Location 4/5

Cleanliness and place is awesome. Price is average or may be little bit more but for the quality it is really worth it. I would like to review based on my experience today. We ordered all veg items. We specifically asked to make it spicy and they were good. Starters: Paneer tikka, peanut masala was good. Manchurian items are ok but quantity was less. I prefer non Manchurian starters there. Main course: Rumali roti was good, corn peas gravy and some mixed veg gravy were good. Soda : masala soda and sweet and salt lemon soda was very very bad. Firstly it was like water and not like soda and not cold. We got it replaced but next one was also same. Overall very happy for visiting this place and will surely visit again.

A generic business hotel. No bells n whistles. You wont miss it, remember it, forget it, or want to re-visit it. I found the draught to be well drawn; for the folly was in the brand -fosters. The food I didn't like... It burnt a hole all the way down to my stomach. .. n onwards. ... this was the buffet thus the chef couldn't have had a vendetta against me...
