Had been to Asia Alive once in Gurgaon and loved it. Decided to try the Bangalore one and wasn't disappointed. The food was authentic, delicious and the staff was courteous. We ordered veg Phad Thai, baby corn appetizer, and Panna Cotta and were happy with all of it. However, we were also served a complimentary veg soup (not sure of the name) which we didn't like as it was too bland. Loved the ambience and the service.

Excellent place. I had a party for a lot of family and relatives and there was not a thing I could complain about. Excellent rating to the hotel and all the staff, chefs and service staff. Our sincere appreciation for taking so good care of all arrangements and ensuring my guests were well taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant to everyone who wants to book a nice place.

We went for a corporate dinner and my god the hospitality, food and ambiance everything was so perfect that we loved every bite of our food. We have tried almost everything what is present in the buffet and it was tasty and awesome. Do visit this place, if you are looking for some nice place to eat.

ASIA ALIVE is the buffet restaurant located in the lobby of DOUBLE TREE hotel on sarjapur Junction. It charges about 1400 per head for a lunch buffet and it was not worth for price it charges. staff was polite but could felt short of staff to serve on table. Starter options were limited they had 2 non veg starters and 2 veg starters, served on table. Veg starters were tasty. In veg main course limited options available, taste was average for all the items. In dessert only 6 to 8 items available, all were average in taste. It was not worth the price they charge for limited items and average food.

Went in at a lean hour. Clearly without supervision the staff lounge around and do little else. It took some muscular calling to get someone to wake up to customers. The chap who took the orders was pleasant enough. This was last pleasant thing to happen here. I unlocked Zomato Gold to another waiter who was resentful of having been pulled away from his siesta/FB time or whatever He immediately said with a sneer reserved for free loaders that we need to order at least three items for the Zomato Gold to be operational. Which in itself was not the issue. Called Zomato who sorted things and a supervisor appeared and told us that the three-item order is unnecessary. Another 20 min later the food arrived, the fish was the texture of my Woodstock shoe. We called the chef who poked around and helpfully stated the obvious. It was overcooked. Since when did Chefs in starred Kitchens start serving fish this texture of leather? Some shouting and the supervisor was back and assured us to day was an exception. The GM was A.W.O.L. no other managers apparently were not available. The bill was waived and we were given some cut fruits and a burger. For this again they took so long that we had to pack it. The zinger is that the fruits were rotten. Did not dare to open the complimentary burger...
