Mutton Biriyani was bad. Ilanneer Payasam drink was awesome but overpriced. Surprising mushroom chilly was good too. Average food, not authentic Tamilnadu cuisine.

This place is new and I wasn't sure what to expect. The ambience is pleasing and I love that your food is served on a banana leaf. The fresh lime juice we ordered was refreshingly tasty. However the Chicken Biryani was a big let down for me. It felt bland and the meat felt like it was just boiled, lacking any flavors from the extensive array of spices used in a biryani. The Prawn roast had some decent sized prawns and the portions seems alright. Its spicy, just a warning. I'll have to give it another try here as they seem to serve an extensive variety of seafood. The prices for all items have been printed on the menu (particularly the seafood), unlike other places where the prices vary as per season and availability. However, the prices do seem a bit steep here.
