Vakula Devi Annadanam Counter Reviews and Ratings - Ognaj, Ahmedabad

It is located inside the Tirupati Balaji Temple. I went there on a Sunday morning. Had to wait for ~10 minutes. The sitting is outside and it was particularly nice and cool. I had the Masala Dosa. The Dosa was good and the stuffing was nice. But the sambhar was total disaster. It was too watery with hardly any lentils visible. Coconut Chutney was average. The quantity is less and it is a self service type restaurant. At 70 rupees per dosa they must improve. Disappointed.

Generally south Indian canteens operated at temples and near by places are very cheap usually half the price this place is serving at, but this place was very over priced. Further I don't find this place very hygienic either. Food's taste was good. Ordered Gun Idli, Medu wada sambhar and mysore masala dosa. I found medu wada was very oily.

Food is not bad, but servicing is very poor and servers behaviour is very bad and owner behaviour is too bad, he is taking advantage of temple and more over prices are very high and quantity is less.
This is the best place to get south Indian tasty food. The dishes are very amazing in taste. Not very wide range of menu, but best items in best quality. Defenetly need to try Mysore masala dosa, idly, vada. and some more rice items. I would really thank them and appreciate their service and dedication in maintain same taste and quality all the times.
