This is the restaurant where 99% of collegians of Ahmedabad must have tried here. Basically it is a restaurant which provide meals but most of people are preferring to take snacks and fast-food over here. It is a place to have a get together with friends. The rate is also very affordable comparing to street food. When i was in school time i had my first visit with my friends. It was very good experience. Even the fix lunch thaali is also good and very budgetary. Puff and South Indian food is also nice. The location of this restaurant is also at centre of Ahmedabad and at very crowdy area called Laal Darwaja bus terminal. Today also i used to eat sometimes if i want to eat anything light and fast. Thank you Trupti Restaurant.

Shopping time ...and for first timers in Ahmedabad... suggestions are always welcome... and so with a tip at hand we visited Lal Darwaja... and hunger stuck... somehow, this was the restaurant i found out to be decent for a quick lunch with family... Before i start... pls note... parking (car) is a nightmare ... Ok... well i would surely suggest the fix thali here... at Rs.115 you get a decent deal, 2 sabji, a dal, rice... and for the hungry souls... 3 butter tandoori roti... complimented by a Chass (buttermilk)... Not a big difference between the fix and executive... only 10 bucks... but a better deal as the extras include a coke/any other cold drink and jeera rice instead of the plain rice. We tried some Desi Chinese too... Manchurian Dry Rice... decent to the taste and portions... Overall a good place... the groundd floor may be crowded but the section above is for families and is a ambient place... Not bad for a place so crowded... P.S. sorry dont have any grt snaps to share this time...
