RJ's Reviews and Ratings - Navrangpura, Ahmedabad

Rated 3.0 by Trusha Patel

Had been there on 2/2/'18. As my best friend want to go there to have Mexican dish, we went there. Light rush over there but they have insufficient chairs to seat. We ordered lasagnia and they took a long time to prepare. Tired of waiting for order. Very slow service. Nd finally, lasagnia arrived on our table. Loaded with Cheese and lots of Mexican beans and ol inside. Average taste of food. Lots of others options are available. Moderately famous place. Try to improve on service. Happy eating.Parita Shah

Gujju land(Ahmadabad) serves some impeccable and delectable street food. Just been a week over here and I'm so much into Gujju food. RJ's is one the street food vendor's opposite CEPT university, Navrangpura. Apart from serving the common Indian cuisine, they serve fine Italian and Mexican Cuisine. Quite din't i think, i ordered for pasta masta(pink sause). Mexican sizzler and Green Thai curry rice. •Pasta masta was finely cooked with creamy sause, which made my taste buds pop out. Pure Italian in flavour. But too much of cheese on it(Gujju's favourite). •Mexican sizzler was well mixed in savoury flavored rice and pasta. Fine like a five star restaurant. A must try! •Green Thai curry rice was well cooked. The vegetables sorted out the coconut minty taste and made the dish delicious. ₹ 400 well spend and this place is more than just a street food vendour. Do try! 🍴

RJ's is like a surprise package for us as I had such delicious food at a reasonable price after a long time. One of their speciality dishes i.e. Mexican hotpot and red alert were marvellous creations. Also they serve fine quality of panner dishes. Although the pizzas are ordinary, overall experience was quite a memory. A visit is a must! :)

Looking at the crowded places, I have long refrained from eating at any of these wagons on the CEPT road inspite of being in the area all the time. Everytime I pass by, the hoards of people and their vehicles which block the sides of this road make me wonder, what makes all these people want to eat here. I have always heard about good food served here and their popularity is unfazed. Including Bentley and Pizza theorem. So, recently on a Sunday evening I finally give in and headed to RJ's (only beacause I thought it had least people density at that particular moment) to find out what what the buzz is about. My confession - all this while I had missed out on good food having not eaten here. Decided on having alfredo pasta and cheese bean burrito. Loved burritos. Authentic taste though it was not a fancy multi-cuisine restaurant (many of them also miss out on right flavours). The service was prompt and warming. Absolutely reasonable pricing for the quantity. Pasta was also savoury. Liked the taste of the red sauce. For a street-side wagon, the whole system was absolutely professional. For me, it was a commendable experience. I highly recommend this place for their Mexican varieties.
