Lalit Palace Reviews and Ratings - Dudheswar, Ahmedabad
by Lincy Gomez
The connection with Lalit Palace is almost more than 2 decades old. It’s next to my father’s office. Like most parents who have few fixed items they bring home for their kids, the cheese sandwich and aloo mutter sandwich, their good old pizza (not the authentic one but the kind which was available 2 decades ago when there were no pizza chains around) were regularly bought home. Till then all was fine then one fine day almost 8 years ago we were taken to this place by my father for lunch. It was one of the most horrendous dining experience I ever had. We were asked to sit on the first floor as the ground floor was full. As soon as the stairs ended on the first floor the place smelled like a public lavatory. It almost made me puke, we somehow had a very unmemorable meal and tried to escape from the place. I never visited the place again but my father still orders knick-knacks and fresh juice from there for us when we visit his office. Instead of a negative rating I gave two stars for all the fond memories of us. We as children would light up when we saw our father getting some snacks for us to gorge on after he came back from office.

Known for their Yummiest Chole Bhature, this is one of the finest old school restaurant in ahmedabad i am visiting since childhood the food here is awesome and also they used to serve the uppercrust bakery products before ...the ambience is good and also the food quality is still maintained.....

Well, the situation has forced me to leave my comments. This restaurant used to be awesome and we are the frequent customer of this place but from past some time, i found so many mismatch in food and cleanliness because at first instance, we found fallen hair in Butter Paneer and Dal Fry in my son's birthday party and i ignored it. Second time, Dal Fry came out cold and with poor condition, ignored it. Third time, cockroaches and their eggs were roaming on dinning table while having dinner with family and it was my anniversary at that time and even my son didnt finish his stuffs and then suddenly they brought me the total bill of my dinner so i think i decided to take the the steps back and i don't think that i would recommend this place to anyone of my dearest ones because i am very disappointed
Pls change average cost it is more then 800/- for two If you take Punjabi food from soup to desert. So I went there and I like to share my experience

Ordered for home delivery . I should say their paneer items are pretty good and South Indian item. Ordered paneer 65 and paneer Tikka both had good taste but the rice items have too much oil in them also the rice items were not good at taste. Should try the paneer items can try South Indian items as well couldn't say about other dishes.
