Lalit Palace Reviews
2.0by Lincy Gomez
The connection with Lalit Palace is almost more than 2 decades old. It’s next to my father’s office. Like most parents who have few fixed items they bring home for their kids, the cheese sandwich and aloo mutter sandwich, their good old pizza (not the authentic one but the kind which was available 2 decades ago when there were no pizza chains around) were regularly bought home. Till then all was fine then one fine day almost 8 years ago we were taken to this place by my father for lunch. It was one of the most horrendous dining experience I ever had. We were asked to sit on the first floor as the ground floor was full. As soon as the stairs ended on the first floor the place smelled like a public lavatory. It almost made me puke, we somehow had a very unmemorable meal and tried to escape from the place. I never visited the place again but my father still orders knick-knacks and fresh juice from there for us when we visit his office. Instead of a negative rating I gave two stars for all the fond memories of us. We as children would light up when we saw our father getting some snacks for us to gorge on after he came back from office.
