Ambiance to food was superb. And cheery on the food was the service by the staff, more specifically the service and food suggestions and service by Mr. M D Tabiz was great.

Even after having planned many times, I used to be reluctant and at the last minute always cancelled to walk-in to Bayleaf, as both, A La Carte dinners and mid-night buffets, at most 5* have been very disappointing. Somehow, this time, I succeeded in convincing myself, and with fingers crossed headed for it. A combination of dark walls with romantic dim lights warmly illuminating the tables, makes the atmosphere nicely delightful and sophisticated. A 5/5 for the ambience. However, the overall experience was staunchly Okay. It almost took them more than 10 minutes to ask for water preference. Though the attendants were polite I wonder why did it take them more than 15 minutes to approach for the order. The order was Nizami Mutton Galouti -a melt in the mouth as the menu says! A 4/5. 1 less star as the Ulte Tawe ka Parantha was a bed of oil with bland Galouti floating on top. Awadhi Nalli Gosht-cooked to perfection 5/5 Awadhi Murg Biryani-flavourful indian spices dominated by the taste of Kevra which I personally don’t prefer in any Biryani. This came along with Awadhi Nalli Gosht, so by the time we could finish the gravy, biryani almost begged for a treat in the microwave. Hence 1 less star 4/5. Zaffrani Warki Parantha-I wish I had ordered a Naan instead. Indian Sweet Platter-Mango Phirni, Basundi and Akhrot Halwa. A must have for a sweet tooth 5/5. Chef Rahil Aga-at your table for a feedback, wholeheartedly, and on his toes to bring perfections. Definitely, visiting again to tryout more dishes.

One of the few restaurants in a 5 star hotel which manages to keep a quiet yet lively ambience. Ordered a starter and a couple of main course dishes, all from the 'Bayleaf' collection and they were all very well made and tasty. I wouldn't say it was a riot of flavours but pretty close. Icing on the cake was the dessert - rasmalai cheese cake. Exceptional dish, rich in flavor, well done. Superb. The celeb chef kept visiting all the tables to ensure that his dishes were making the mark. Nice, unhurried experience, will be back to try the rest of the menu.
