Peshawri - ITC Mughal Reviews and Ratings - Taj Ganj, Agra

Dim lighted soothing restaurant with a luxurious feel. It is an Experience. Right from the moment you enter you relish each and every detail. Then comes the food . Dal Bukhara. It cant get better than this. Yummy treat for your senses. I would saw food is extremely good. But Dal stands out. Paneer ordered was so huge quantity enough to throw a party. Was truly an amazing experience.

The main high end restaurant in ITC Mughal is Peshawri. A not too big but classical themed outlet which has just enough space to make for an intimate setting. A very limited menu exists here but everything is made to perfection with Dal Bukhara and Tandoori Aloo amongst the best items. The Phirni is lip smacking as well. The staff is the only issue as they’re slightly off pace at the dinner rush but food makes up for it. Go here only if you’ve got very deep pockets else you’d wind up doing the dishes.

The main restaurant in ITC Mughal is Peshawri, a classic theme outlet which is not too big and high end. The prices here skyrocket and you’ve a very limited menu to choose from but everything is prepared to uniquely. The Dal Bukhara is the main attraction while Tandoori Aloo are also great. Go there if you’ve got deep pockets.

A truly rustic dining experience. The options in menu are restricted but each item has its own unique taste. The best part is that you need to eat with your hands which makes its a different experience altogether (not that I don’t eat with hands otherwise 🤣). Worth going on a day where the motive for dining is just good food and nothing else.

My wife and I went to Peshawari for lunch on the last day of our stay at ITC Mughal. It was Monday afternoon and we were the only guests. From the minute of our arrival, we were taken care of almost to the point of pampering. The menu and decor are both nearly replica of the iconic Bukhara at ITC Maurya in Delhi. The food turned out to be equally delicious (if not better). We ordered Daal Bhukhara, Garlic Naan, Malai Tikka and Fish Tikka. The grilled meats were - for the lack of a better word - perfect. The Daal Bukhara was as good as the iconic original. Every member of the staff was super attentive and warm but absolutely non-pushy. I hate the service staffs pestering you to order drinks. This was not the case. They respected ‘just water’ and that means something. Overall a wonderfully delightful experience we had, but these things don’t come cheap. But, the real rich person does not collect things but collects experience.
