Mughal Pavilion - ITC Mughal Reviews and Ratings - Taj Ganj, Agra
by Ishaan Wadhwa
I had recently visited Agra for a one day trip and had stayed in the ITC MUGHAL hotel, we had a package including the breakfast which was served here as a buffet I was one of the earliest to eat as I had to leave early, The food in this restaurant was average, the bacon was not crisp and not felt fresh, the salami and ham were slimy and felt they were frozen, the service was good, the live counter was good, I was quite disappointed by the food items which Indians as well as foreigners eat,was of such average quality, hope they improve

The coffee shop at ITC Mughal has all the ingredients of a classic including the location, the staff et all. It's in parts that it lives up to that name, for instance the older staff is fabulous! Have usually only enjoyed the breakfast at the Pavilion, as we were in time went there for lunch. The buffet, like everything else was patchy in terms of what it offered. Our servers were helpful and accommodating. Waiting for Peshawari dinner tonight!

Extremely poor service !!! Average food selection being an ITC buffet. Taste was decent ! The staff just keep running around aimlessly and pretend to be the real definition of the word "busy" ! When asked for anything, they have a "oh u disturbed me for THAT?! look"!! Extremely disappointed with the training standards at ITC Mughal, touted as a landmark hospitality experience. We cleared our own plates. Had to practically beg for water. Paratha was served while we were finishing our desserts ?!!! Pricing is obviously high owing to a 5 Star branding, but falls miserably short on delivery of basic courtesy. A very generous 2/5!

Perfect food. Great ambiance. Beautifully decorated interiors and neat, clean dining room. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner out here during my stay in Agra. Breakfast was simply fabulous. had baked beans, toast, fresh fruits and way too many more. They have a live eggs counter, where you may get your eggs fried, poached, sunny side up or omelette. They keep things simple and deliver big time on texture of components. Like I had a biriyani with baby chicken legs. The meat was melt-in-the-mouth. Mouth watering dish. Simply awesome experience.
