Jahanpanah Reviews and Ratings - Sadar Bazaar, Agra
by Pallavi Banerjee
Jahapannah is one of those comfort joints you can always fall back on when you're not very keen on having a plush setting. The best thing we had there is chicken potli (chicken fillets stuffed with cheese and mutton keema and grilled). We also ordered galaouti kebabs and mutton biryani. The galaouti was ok...and the biryani very typical of Agra - very greasy, moderately spicy with succulent pieces of meat. The portions are generous.

Went with my family for lunch and got quite disappointed with the food. The location is nice n easily accessible, I had ordered Mutton seekh kabab Galauti kabab Ulte tawa ka paratha Chicken biryani About the food, mutton seekh has too much colour and the taste was just missing now for galactic kabab the meat was perfectly cooked and that is the best part the kabab got burnt and was giving a bitter taste. The ulte tawa ka paratha was perfect on the third attempt chicken biryani was good perfect for kids non spicy but the raita could cause people t chock with so much extra salt that it was just un edible My suggestion to the guests keep your hopes t the minimum and be ready for a few letdowns Management work towards providing good experiences the art of good business lies in the details

I had very high expectation from this place after reading the reviews. But i came back highly disappointed. The menu of the restaurant is very short and service is literally horrible. I highly suggest you not to go to this restaurant unless all the nearby restaurants are closed. Food is okay but you will regret going there reason being their bad service and not so nice interior as shown in pictures. And they din’t have phirni which is a special dessert of this place.

For only God knows what reasons, the lovely people of Agra have rated this place a 4.1. Online reviews vouched for this place's "Awadhi" cuisine, however it was no where close to what the cuisine is all about. The food was barely edible, and tasted like an average highway side dhaba dinner. The Ambience was so poor that we had to think twice before ordering. We did go ahead with it assuming the food would be good, but all in vain. Severely distasteful food with doubtful quality make the dining experience a harrowing one. Overall, you don't have to come here to dine cause this place has nothing to offer, so convinently ignore it for your own good. Food-6/10 -Below average Mutton Biryani -Average Galauti Kebab -Average vegetarian food Ambience-5/10 Service-5/10
